Noise Reduction Demands Latest Driver of Handset Design

Demand for noise reduction is the latest trend shaping the design of new mobile phones, this time leading not only to simplified phones, but to new layout and assembly methods. The filters used in multi-band modules, including power amplifier, antenna switch, low noise amplifier and transceiver modules are expected to grow to an estimated 40 percent of filters in 2010.
