School reconsiders using a logo that looks like cigarette emblem

SEP 21, 1995 Plans to use a high-tech rendering of an eagle's wing as the visual symbol for Florida Gulf Coast University may go up in smoke - cigarette smoke to be precise. The controversial logo design presented earlier this year by graphic designer Jeff King of King/Matson Advertising in Tampa bears a striking resemblance to an emblem gracing the Manchester line of cigarettes.
