It was a 1968 Volkswagen Beetle. Really. But it has assumed a clever disguise as a squashed vintage sedan in the expert hands of art-car enthusiast W.T. Burge of Houston. With three gargoylelike, horned, smiling faces and a sleek design inspired by classic automobiles, it's no Beetle now.
